I don't believe this is correct. Sametime 7.5 stores your password (if set to do so) separately and is not related to the OS password. I have no problems with ST 7.5 remembering my password. It will, however, fail if you are also using the workstation for doing Eclipse development using Sametime and if you use different IDs.
